S. McCain, 88, of 912 Quarry Rd., Sylacauga, who died Sunday in a Sylacauga hospital, will be held today at 3 p.m., at Blair Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Elliott and Elder B. B. Finley officiating. Burial will be in Lineville City Cemetery. Mrs. McCain is survived by a son, J. C. McCain of Atlanta, Ga., and one daughter, Mrs. E. G Smith of Sylacauga with whom she had made her home the past nine years, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great - greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be R. E. Smith, Ellis W. McCain, C. W. Coleman, R. W. Wood, Bobby Pettus, Michael Pettus and Billy Coleman. Mrs. McCain was the oldest living member of Lineville Methodist Church and was the daughter of the late B. F. Holdridge of Ashland, who fought in some of the hardest battles of the Civil War. Her husband, the late J. S. McCain, was postmaster at Lineville.
