McCain, were laid to rest in the Lineville cemetery Sunday morning to await the resurrection morning. The funeral services were conducted from the Baptist church by Rev. W. W. Crymes, pastor of the Lineville Methodist church. The death of this little manly fellow was very sad. On Thursday of last week his parents were visiting the sick at Somerville, in Morgan County, of which charge Mr. McCain is pastor. A neighbor's child came to the home and Aubrey was accidentally shot while his parents were visiting a sick friend. The bullet penetrated the body going out through the spine. The little fellow was rushed to a Birmingham hospital, but no hope was held out for his recovery, and he died Friday, July 3rd. Much sympathy is felt and expressed by the people of Lineville for the bereaved parents over the untimely of their first born.
