Lineville Headlight
Mr. W. M. McClellan, an aged citizen, passed away at his home at Campbells Cross 
Reads Saturday morning. Mr. McClellan was well known in Clay County where he 
resided for many years. He belonged to the church of Christ and had lived a true 
Christian all his life. He was seventy-eight years of age. He will be greatly 
missed in his community as he was always attentive to public interest. He leaves 
an aged widow and six children to mourn his death, one daughter being dead, Mrs. 
W. W. Todd. Mr. Charlie McClellan resides in Birmingham, Walter McClellan in Ga. 
E. G. McClellan, Mrs. Louis Hill, Mrs. Preston, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Patterson all 
reside in Clay County. His remains were laid to rest in the pleasant grove 
Cemetery Sunday Bro Carl Smith and A. T. Hobbs Conducted the Funeral. May God 
bless each and every one of the family in their sore bereavement.
