Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Claude McClellan, age 19, who was fatally injured in an 
accident at Oliver Dam near Tuscaloosa Thursday, were conducted at 2 o'clock 
Saturday afternoon at Campbell's Cross Roads near Pyrition by the Rev. F. J. 
Ingram. Interment was in the church cemetery with Usery in charge. Mr. McClellan 
was a carpenter and had been employed at Oliver Dam for nearly three months. He 
lived with his father on Munford, Route 1. He is survived by his wife, a brother, 
Charles and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Jenkins, Mrs. Clydie Stewart and Mrs. 
Mamie Dothard, all of hear Munford.
