John Floyd McCollough, 50, of Delta, died yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock at 
his residence after a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock at The Delta Baptist church with the Revs. S. E. Maples, 
B. B. Finley and Gus Young officiating; Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery 
with Jones Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. McCollough is survived by 
one brother, Bryan McCollough of Delta, three sisters, Mrs. Noba Dail Delta, 
Mrs. Doyle Harris. Oxford, and Mrs. Grover Ingram of Birmingham. Active 
pallbearers will be Grover K. Ingram, Billy Mack Ingram, Donald Ferguson, Robert 
Knowles, Donald McCollough, Odell Cheatwood, Sly McCollough and S. J. 
McCollough. Honorary pallbearers will be Brenton Hendrix, W. E. Carpenter, 
Sanford Cook, John Martin, Lum Kennedy, Lloyd Kemp, Ross Braswell, Baxton 
Spurlin and Cubb Haynes. Mr. McCollough was a life-long resident of the Delta 
Community.
