Services for Jesse G. McCollum. 80, of Lineville, Rt. 1. will be today at 2 p.m. 
at Lineville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Colquett and Dr. Wayne Stevens 
officiating. Burial will be in Lineville City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral 
Home of Wedowee in charge. The body will be at the funeral home until an hour 
prior to services. Mr. McCollum died Thursday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors 
include a son. Bobby McCollum of Acworth. Ga.: two sisters, Mrs. Rilla Denson 
and Mrs. Lura Miller, both of Lineville. and two grandsons. Pallbearers will be 
Bill East. Joe Tom Bradford, Charles Perry, Emyl Griffin, Brenton Morrow, James 
A. Jordan. Don Hogan and Kenny Cleveland. Honorary pallbearers will be members 
of the Fellowship Bible Class and deacons of the Lineville Baptist Church. Mr. 
McCollum was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and a retired service 
station attendant. He was a member and honorary deacon of Lineville Baptist 
Church. Fellowship Bible class and Lineville Masonic Lodge 219 F& AM.
