Services for Mrs. Florence Y. McCollum, 77, of Lineville, Rt. 1, were today at 
Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. C.H. Clark and the Rev. Kenneth Lipham. 
Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in 
charge. Mrs. McCollum died Wednesday at Clay County Hospital in Ashland. 
Survivors include her husband, Omer McCollum of Lineville; three sons, Leonard 
McCollum of Prairie, Miss., Felton McCollum of Ashland and Gwendol McCollum of 
Lineville; two sisters, Mrs. Elone Clifton of Wedowee and Mrs. Mary G. Gregg of 
Lineville; four brothers, Woodrow Yates of Cullman, Roscoe Yates and Williams 
Yates, both of Valley, and Beauford Yates of Lineville; 10 grandchildren and 11 
greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons. Mrs. McCollum was a native and 
resident of Randolph County, a housewife and a member of Pine Grove Baptist 
Church.
