Ashland Progress
John McCormick, age 77, died at the home of his daughter. Mrs. G. A. Coleman, a 
mile east of Ashland Saturday night and his remains were interred at New Harmony, 
near Blake's Ferry. He was stricken with paralysis several months ago and had 
been an invalid ever since. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman with whom he made his home 
requests The Progress to express to their neighbors and mends their sincere 
thanks for the kindness shown them during his long illness.
