Quinton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brittian McCormick were in the barn back of their home at Rt 2, Lineville, milking the cows when they heard Quinton scream and rushed to the house to find his entire body in flames. He was wearing leather cap and leather shoes which prevented his head and feet from being burned. Quinton was in the room with three brothers and sisters at the time his clothing caught fire. Mr. Mccormick's hands were badly burned aa he removed the burning clothing from Quinton. He is a farmer. Funeral services were conducted for Quinton McCormick. 3, at the New Harmony Church April 27. The Rev. Craft officiated with Blair Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery. Quinton received third degree burns when his clothing caught fire on March 16 at his home near Lineville. His parents were milking la the back when they heard him scream and rushed into their farm home to and his clothing in flames, He died April 26. Quinton would have celebrated his fourth birthday on May 19. He is survived by his parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Brittain McCormick, Rt. 1, Lineville; four sisters.
