B. McCrary died at his home about six miles east of Lineville Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock and his remains were laid to rest at New Harmony in the presence of a large concourse relatives and friend. The deceased was about 40 years old and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. E. McCrary. He is survived by a widow and seven children. Our Mountain Home Jun 4, 1902: A serious difficulty occurred on last Sunday morning at Wesobulga, between B. T. Hanners and J. B. McCrary and the latter received several knife wounds which, it in feared that will prove fatal. A warrant was issued for Hanners on Monday, and he has since been arrested. The difficulty occurred near the church where Children's Day services were being conducted. The trouble grew out of an old feud between the two families.
