The Alexander City Outlook
Mrs. Mary Jane McDaniel, 82. Alexander City, died Thursday. Feb. 24, at 
Jefferson-Hillman Hospital, Birmingham, following a six-month illness. Funeral 
was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sykesville, burial in an adjoining cemetery, 
Radney Funeral Home directing. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. J.L. 
Tidwell. Alexander City, Mrs. Rube Bice, Bessemer, Mrs. F.U. Harris, New York 
City; a son, W. C. McDaniel, Bessemer: two sisters. Mrs. A. A. Cook, Wylam, Mrs. 
Walter Harris, Delta; six brothers J.H. Gregg, Lineville. G. N. Gregg, C. N. 
Gregg, R. C. Gregg, all of Wadley, Rev. A. W. Gregg, Birmingham, Calvin Gregg, 
Anniston.
