T. McEachern, at the family residence on Lineville R. 4, on February 13, was a very sad event of the past Her death was the result of an illness of less than a week. The deceased was 48 years of age at the time of her demise, having been born in Lee County January 1866. Before her marriage to Mr. McEachern in 1885 she was Miss Maggie Wyatt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Wyatt. When she was five years old her parents made their home in Georgia and later in Lee and Tallapoosa counties. From the latter county, she came to Clay County where she had been a resident for about seven years. Mrs. McEachern was a member of the Baptist church and was a woman whom to know was to love and respect. A husband and six children survive the deceased. She is also survived by her mother. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. A. Dunn, of Wadley, at the Shiloh church February 14, 1914, and the interment took place in the Shiloh cemetery.
