P. (Billie) McGehee died at his home near Coleta, in Clay County, after an illness of several months. Mr. McGehee was well known in Talladega and was a frequent visitor here. He was a good citizen, devoted to the development of his county, and had done much to stimulate fruit raising and truck farming. In the Civil War Mr. McGehee was quite a noted character among his comrades, being a member of the famous Washington Artillery, of which Messrs J. B. McMillan, J. B.
