J. T. McKay, 84, a former resident and minister to Calhoun County churches, died last night at the Randolph County Hospital in Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Broughton Baptist Church with the Rev. Mr. Eeley and Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Church cemetery near Lineville. Survivors include the widow Mrs. Hattie McKay three daughters. Mrs. W. A. Shaddix of Talladega, Mrs. Henry George of Calera and Mrs. H. C. Benefield of Talladega; seven sons. O. H. McKay of Lineville. L. D. McKay of Trenton. Ga., W. S. McKay, the Rev. J. H. McKay and F. T. McKay of Anniston, the Rev. E. T. McKay of Roanoke and J. E. McKay of Bremen, Ga.; six sisters, four brothers, 29 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. NA. resident of Randolph County for me past Z7 yean, the Rev. Mr. McKay served ai pastor of a number of Baptist churches in Calhoun County including those at Weaver and Cane Creek.
