McKay who lived in the Barfield community, was buried Sunday at the family burial ground in Black's Chapel cemetery. Mrs. McKay had been ill more than a year at the time of her death she was at Bryce Hospital for treatment. The last illness was of short duration, lasting about three days The body was, brought home Saturday and interment Sunday with Blair in charge. Her pastor, Rev. R. S. Rains, assisted by Rev. W. R. Ingram conducted the funeral in the presence large concours of relatives and friends, A pall of sorrow hung over this community at untimely going of this beloved mother, companion and neighbor. her husband, eight children are left in the home, a father and Mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hill, several brothers and sisters are the immediate surviving. We extend sympathy to the bereaved. May God comfort them in their time of sorrow.
