Anniston Star
Edgar McKay, died Wednesday at Southeastern Nursing Home in Lineville after a 
long illness. Funeral services were held Friday at Barfield Baptist Church in 
Clay County. The Rev. Obey Moody officiated. Survivors include his wife. Mrs. 
Katie McKay; a son, Thesley McKay of Anniston five daughters, Mrs. Kay Hammond. 
Mrs. Mary Lott, Mrs. Ruby Feazell, all of Anniston, Mrs. Sarah Mathews of Moulton 
Mrs. Willene Walker of Lineville, 11 grandchildren, three sisters. Mrs. Dovie 
Garrett and Miss Lovie McKay of Villa Rica, and Mrs. Evie Owens of Talladega.
