Funeral services were conducted for Thomas C. McLain, 5. Friday at 3 o'clock at 
the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Blair Funeral 
Home was in charge. Thomas died in a Roanoke Hospital Wednesday. He is survived 
by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman McLain; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
R. C. McLain, Rt. 1, Malone; three aunts. Mrs. Pearl Jaco, Lownesburg Tenn., Mrs. 
Merle McCrary, Rt. 1. Malone, Mrs. Wilma Nicastro Memphis, Tenn, three uncles 
James McLain. Rt. 1. Wadley, Ted McLain. Rt. 1. Malone and Richard McLain.
