Our Mountain Home
The funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Ernestine McLeroy. who died at her home on 
Pyriton, Rout 2, Monday, was held Tuesday afternoon at the residence. The Rev. 
J.F.T. Brown pastor of the Trinity Methodist church, officiated. Interment was in 
the Fairview cemetery, Usrey conducting. The following served as pallbearers: 
Aughey Brown, Clyde Brown. Jack Sailors, James Hobbs, Carl Ingram, Willie Brown, 
Hubert Brown and Carson Sailors, all of Pyriton. Surviving are her husband, R. M. 
McLeroy, two daughters. Dorothy of Pyriton, and Irma of Talladega; five sons, 
Leon, William, Albie, Otho and Wallace.
