Funeral services were held for Wilmer Albie McLeroy, 36, at the Bowden Grove 
Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Thursday. The Rev. W. E. Mattox and the Rev. A. O. 
Burdette officiated with Blair Funeral Home, Ashland, in charge. Burial was in 
the Fairview Cemetery. Mr. McLeroy was killed while working in Dwight. Ill., 
Saturday. He is survived by a son; W. A. McLeroy, Jr.; three daughters, Eloise, 
Shirley, and Shernell McLeroy, Lanett; his father, R. M. McLeroy, Pyriton; three 
brothers, H. L. McLeroy, Pyriton, William McLeroy, Alexander City, Otho McLeroy, 
Lincolnton, Ga., and two sisters. Mrs. Dwight Wood, Talladega, and Mrs. J. C. 
Brown, Birmingham.
