Lineville Headlight
Death claimed Mrs. L. F. McMichael 4th Sunday afternoon after a prolonged 
suffering of several weeks. She had been carried to the Citizens Hospital in 
Talladega in an effort to save her life, but death was too near. She gave birth 
to twins on Thursday previous to her death but only one lived. Burial was Monday 
at Barfield after funeral services conducted by Rev. B. R Layton, in the presence 
of a large congregation of relatives and friends, Blair Funeral Co. directing. 
Besides the husband, seven children survive, most of them small. Mr. McMichael 
lives about two miles east of Lineville.
