The Enterprise-Chronicle
Mrs. Ida Bell McMichael, 59. of Goodwater, Rt. 1, died at the Russell hospital on 
Wednesday morning of last week. Funeral services were held last Friday from the 
Rock Springs Church. Burial in the adjoining cemetery was directed by Radney. She 
is survived by her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Hammond and Mrs. Maucel 
Turley, of Anniston; Mrs. Vince Hallman, of Goodwater; Mrs. W.G. Wheeler of 
Alexander City Rt. 1, Miss Pauline McMichael, Goodwater, Rt. two sons, Burl 
McMichael, Talladega, and Earl McMichael, of Montgomery; four sisters, Mrs. Ada 
Brasher, Blue Mountain; Mrs. J. T. Turner, Sand Mountain; Mrs. H. S. McMichael, 
Bessemer, and Mrs. W. F. Spurlin of Albertville; a brother.
Jim Duke, of Blue Mountain, and a number of other relatives
