Services for Charles Vemer McVey. 56. of Lineville. will be Monday at 11:00 a m 
at Bellview Baptist Church, with the Revs Thompson Pitts. Lawrence Pate and Fred 
Lackey officiating Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Benefield 
Funeral Home of Lineville is in charge. The body will be at the funeral home 
between 11:30 this morning until one hour Monday's service. Mr. McVey died 
Friday at the VA Hospital in Birmingham. Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Anna 
McVey of Lineville: his father. Mr. Vemer McVey of Lineville: his stepmother. 
Mrs. Annie Lee McVey of Lineville: and three brothers. Herman McVey of 
Lineville. Edward McVey of Pell City and Douglas McVey of Huntsville Mr. McVey 
was a native of Clay County and a sales representative for the Goldkist Co. He 
was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Bellview Baptist Church The 
family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Clay 
County Rescue Squad.
