McVey, 69, of Lineville, Rt. 3, were today at Bellview Baptist Church with the Rev. David DeLong, the Rev. Tom Coleman and the Rev. Eugene Robinson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mrs. McVey died Sunday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include her husband. Verner McVey of Lineville, Rt, 3; four sons, Charles McVey of Athens, Herman McVey of Lineville, Edward K. McVey, of Pell City and Douglas McVey of Orlando, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Kirkland of Newnan, Ga., Mrs. Helen McVey of Lineville, Mrs. Pauline Carlisle of Alexander City, Mrs. Bernie Gortney of Ashland and Mrs. Willie R. O'Daniel of Columbia, S.C.; four brothers, Robert Huddleston of Millerville, James I. Huddleston of Greenville, Fla., Fred Huddleston of LaConner, Wash., and Dallas Huddleston of Ledlow, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Thomas Wilcox, Johnny McVey, Dwight McVey, Roger McVey, Michael Whisenant and Johnny Mathis. Mrs. McVey was a Clay County native and resident, a homemaker and a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
