Esco McWilliams died in Mobile Tuesday, October 22nd was brought to Usreys in Talladega Wed. where he remained until Thurs. afternoon. Funeral and burial was at Clairmont Springs Thursday 2 p.m. Bro. W. A. Wheeler and Bro. Leon Browning conducted, before a well filled house. Mr. McWilliams returned to his daughters from Johns Hopkins last Spring, later making a trip to Dallas, Texas and returned again without hope of a cure. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. A. McWilliams of Chandler Springs and retired from lumber business when he sold out in Columbiana to Brenton Owen. He is survived by his widow, Mary Williams McWilliams; a son Robert and daughter Mrs. Odell Webber both of Mobile; four grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.
