Our Mountain Home
Mr. R. S. McWilliams, who came here from Lineville a little more than two years 
ago, and who had been afflicted with paralysis for more than two months, died at 
his home Friday evening, August 31, and was buried at Clairmont Springs Sunday 
afternoon. A host of friends and relatives attended the last rites which were 
conducted by Rev. J. M. Thomas, pastor of the First Baptist church of Talladega. 
Many expressions of sorrow at the death of Mr. McWilliams have been received at 
the home, together with messages of condolence from various places. Of his 
immediate family he is survived by his wife and six children: R. C. McWilliams, 
Anniston; Mrs. Otto Danner, Cragford; Mrs. H. H. Horne, Talladega; Mrs. E. D. 
Short, Pine Hurst, N. C; Alta McWilliams, Quitman, Ga., and Nelia McWilliams, of 
Talladega
