The child apparently was in good health Saturday and when he retired Saturday night members of his family were awakened about 1 o'clock Sunday morning when he complained of being ill. He died within a short time. A short service was conducted from the residence at 12:30 o'clock by the Rev. L. N. Claxton and at 2:30 o'clock services were conducted at the Shiloh Church near Delta by the Rev. Ben Mathews. Interment was in the church cemetery, with White in charge. Active pallbearers were Jack Rosamond, Buddy Bridges, Tony Cryst, Dixon Ivey, Burl Smith and Thomas Twisdale. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Bridges, Neal and Curtis Medders, Braxton Smithm Bryant Carter and Buddy Higginbotham. Surviving are the parent. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Meaders; a brother, W. R. Medders, and two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Clark and Miss Dolly Medders.
