Anniston Star
C. B. Messer age 88, well-known farmer of Delta, died at his home this morning 
following an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held tomorrow 
morning at 11 o'clock at the Shiloh Church with the Rev. Mr. Sprayberry 
officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Jones directing. Surviving 
are six sons, H. L. of Delta, L. W. of Pritchard and S.B. W.H. and A.W. of Rocky 
Mountain. N. C, and a daughter, Mrs. J. K. King of Rocky Mountain, N. C.
