C. Miller. 85, of Lineville, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bellview Baptist Church with Bros. Eugene Robinson and David Porter officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. Mr. Miller died Sunday at the Bill Nichols State Veterans Home. Survivors include his wife, Mildred S. Miller of Lineville; three daughters, Judy Brown and Darlene Brown, both of Lineville and Charlene Clark of Eastaboga; two sons, Stanley Miller of Graham and Rusty Miller of Lineville; one sister, Mary Solina Knowles of Slocomb; two brothers, Hilton Miller of Delta and Ercial Miller of Anniston; 17 grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricky Miller, Kevin Brown, Scott Miller, Tim Miller, Randall Upchurch, Jason Miller and Rodney McCain. Mr. Miller was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theatre. He received the World War II Victory Medal, the Philippine Liberation Ribbons with 1 Bronze Star and the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars. He had been employed with Higgins Manufacturing, was a dairy farmer and member of Good Hope Delta Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Clay County Rescue Squad.
