Mrs. Exar Jane Miller, 62. of Delta died Friday morning at 3 o'clock after an 
illness of six weeks. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock 
at the Good Hope Church near Delta, the Rev. W. L. Sprayberry and the Rev. O. D. 
Parker officiating, Jones in charge. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Jim 
Miller; five sons, Gaston Miller of Sylacauga, R. C. Miller of the United States 
Army, and Jim Miller, Jr., Hilton Miller and Erciel Miller, all of Delta: three 
daughters Mrs. C. J. Mitchell of Delta, Miss Novie Miller of Delta, and Mrs. G. 
C. Knowles of Slocumb. five sisters, Mrs. J. E. Strickland of Anniston, Mrs. J. 
O. Strickland and Mrs. J. R. Moore of Texas. Mrs. J. H. Carter of Jamestown, 
Ala., and Mrs. O. N. Kizer of Mumford.
