S. Miller were conducted by Rev. Curtis Birchfield and Rev. Elmer Mattox and Judge W. B. Nolen at Mellow Valley Baptist Church last Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment was at, McDaniel's Chapel. Pallbearers were husbands of granddaughters, Herman Ritter of Phenix City, Cecil Parker, Hal Koehlen of Atlanta, J. P. Osborn of Alexander City, Duel Thompson of Slocum, J. J. Green of North Carolina. Mrs. Miller was born in 1862 in Randolph County. She was married at the early age of 18 to William Miller. To this union was born eight children, five boys and three girls, W. L. Miller of Cragford. R.O. Miller of Dooling, G. O. Miller of Malone, O. B. Miller of Talladega, H. Miller, who died ten years ago, also Pinkee Miller who died two and one-half years ago. Her husband preceded her in death almost three years ago at the age of eighty-eight. Mrs. Miller has been a member of the Baptist church since she was sixteen. She having been one of the charter members of Mellow Valley and lived an exemplary life. She died October 9, at the age of eighty-one.
