Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. C. D. Mitchell, 71. at the Cragford 
Baptist Church Monday. Dr. J. W. Dean and the Rev. O. C. Nichols and the Rev. R. 
E. Birchfield officiated. Blair Funeral Home directed with interment in the 
Cragford Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Clay County and had lived here all 
her life. Her husband died in 1938. She had resided with her daughter for the 
past few years. She is survived by three daughters. Mrs. Charles Jordan, Crag 
ford, Mrs. Herbert McDonald, Pensacola, Fla., and Mrs. Everett Cotney, 
Jacksonville, Fla., and several grandchildren.
