The Rev. Cecil Little officiated with Blair Funeral Home in charge. Interment was In the Lineville Cemetery. Mr. Mitchell had resided at Cragford until he was a young man and had resided in Lineville since that time. He was engaged in the grocery business for many years until his retirement several years ago. He had been in ill health for the past several years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Mitchell, Lineville; one daughter, Mrs. Ray Moss, Lineville; for sons, W. D. Mitchell Columbus, Ga., A. B. Mitchell, Fitzgerald, Ga., Ralph W, Mitchell, Newfoundland, Everett L. Mitchell, Lineville; five brothers, C. Hamp Mitchell, Ocie O. Mitchell, both of Crafgord. G. D. Mitchell, Glencoe, Forest Mitchell, Bessemer, D. B. Mitchell, Lineville, three sisters, Mrs. Will Camp and Mrs. Ocie Price, both of Atlanta, Mrs. Fannie Peek, Cragford and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. Byran Hull, Eugene Pruett, Jack Zorn, Harold Parker, J. B. Crews and W. G. Ingram.
