Mrs. Lera W. Mitchell, of Lineville, died Sunday night at Mary Brandon Nursing 
Home in Oxford died after a long illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at Blair Home at Lineville. Burial will in the Lineville Cemetery. She is 
survived by her husband, D. B. Mitchell of Lineville two sons, W. C. Mitchell of 
Birmingham and J. S. Mitchell of Montgomery, two daughters, Mrs. James 0. Jones 
of Germany and Mrs. Kenneth H. Brooks of Ft. Thomas, Ky.; nine. grandchildren.; 
six sisters Mrs. B. H. Stewart of Portland, Ore., Mrs. J. D. Burchfield of 
Lineville: Mrs. F. E. Barnhill of Moultrie, Ga., Mrs. Jack Taylor of Brimingham, 
Mrs. Lucile Jordan and Miss Elizabeth Weaver of Anniston.
