Ashland Progress
Funeral rites for Mrs. Mae Bell Mitchell, 72, were held at Wrights Chapel, of 
which she was a member, on February 10th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. A. O. Burdette, 
Rev. Hollis Horn and Rev. Lavell Reynolds officiating. Interment was in Sardis 
Cemetery with Blair Funeral Directors in charge. Pallbearers were Willis Atkins, 
Bryee Hardegree, Plumer Watts, Alber Miller, Frank Hardin, Jackie Medley. Mrs. 
Mitchell passed away at her home on February 9th. Site is survived by her 
husband, Mr. Joe Mitchell; two daughters, Mrs. James Knop and Mrs. Cora Lee 
Mitchell, Ashland. Three and granddaughters, one grandson, great granddaughter.
