Ashland Progress 
Funeral services were held March 8th, for Bennett H. Mitchell, at Fairview Church 
with Rev. McCurry of Anniston officiating, Blair in charge. Mr. Mitchell died 
suddenly of a heart attack March 6th, at his home on Pyriton Rt. He is survived 
by his wife and a number of children.

Fairview News: 
This community was made sad when the news went out Saturday morning that B. H. 
Mitchell was found dead in bed. He was buried Sunday evening at Fairview.
