Ashland Progress
W. C. Mitchell. 72, farmer of Delta Route 2, died Sunday afternoon after several 
weeks Illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Providence Church at 2 
o'clock With Blair Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inez 
Mitchell: two sons, W. L. Mitchell, Delta, and C. J. Mitchell, Heflin; one 
daughter, Mrs. C. G. Miller, Delta; and 12 grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.
