Ashland Progress
On Saturday morning, August 3. the angel of death, entered the home of Mr. W. A. 
Mitchell and family calling their dear wife and mother to rest. Mrs. Mitchell 
was a tender sweet mother. She always led a beautiful life. When her body was 
racked with pain, she tried to smile, and was ever patient and always 
appreciated the work done by the doctors and friends who did much to make her 
comfortable to the end. We know her place in the home seems vacant, and, oh how 
lonely all the paths her feet have trod. We know it seems another mystery and 
only God can reveal the workings of His way. Mrs. Mitchell is new in the mansion 
prepared for her in the home of the blest, where there shall be no more death, 
neither sorrow, neither shall there be any more crying nor pain for God shall 
wipe all tears away. So while your hearts bleed, think of the greatness of God 
and the joy in the land where the righteous dwell. Cast all your cares upon 
Jesus who weeps with those who weep and humbly submit for he careth for you. 
Mrs. Mitchell won a place in the hearts of all who knew her, by her wonderful 
personality and character. The heart hat has ceased to beat, shall vibrate in 
heaven again. The voice that is still shall be heard as it joins the angel 
refrain. She has gone but her soul lives on by the Master's power. May the 
sympathy of friends and the memory of sweet relationship of the beautiful life 
help to lighten the load of grief. May each of you be led by God ever onward 
until you meet again.
