Ashland Progress
Funeral services for C. D. Mitchell, age 76 of Cragford, were held from the 
Cragford Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 with the Rev. W. R.
Ingram, of Barfield officiating. The deceased was a lifelong citizen of Clay 
County and had been engaged in farming near Cragford since early boyhood. 
Surviving are the widow, one son, C. M. Mitchell, of Norman, Okla. four 
daughters, Mesdames Ira Orr, Birmingham, Herbert McDonald, of Roanoke, Hattie 
Jordan, Ashland and Miss Mary Mitchell.
