Ashland Progress
Mrs. Moncus, the wife of J. P. Moncus, died at her home near Motley Thursday, 
April 16, at 1 o'clock. She was about 56 years of age. She is survived by her 
husband and 8 children who mourn their loss. Mrs. Moncus was a member of the 
Baptist church for about 40 years. She was a consecrated Christian, a faithful 
wife, a kind and loving mother and a good neighbor. We all miss her, but our loss 
is her gain. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the 
Lord. A Friend,
