Ashland Progress
In view of the loss, we have sustained by the decease of our friend and brother, 
M. C. Moncus, who departed this life October 29th, 1918, and of the still heavier 
loss sustained by those who were nearest and dearest to him, therefore be it 
resolved: 1st. That it is but a just tribute to the memory of the departed to say 
that in regretting his removal from our midst we mourn for one who was in every 
way worthy of our respect and regard. 2nd. That we sincerely sympathize with the 
family of the departed in this dispensation of Divine Providence and commend them 
for consolation to Him who orders all things for the best. 3rd. That these 
resolutions be transmitted to the family of our deceased brother and to the 
county paper. J. R. GREEN, W. J. HARRIS, Committee.
