Funeral services were held Friday afternoon with Rev. Bean and Rev. Seay conducting and White Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jefferson Moncus, Lavelle Moncus, Eugene Moncus, Edgar Griffin, Lenward Griffin, and Artis Griffin. Mr. Moncus was born in Clay County in 1886. He was a well-known farmer of the county and had lived in Lineville for the past eight years. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Fannie B. Moncus; two sons, Willard and Wilford; three daughters, Mrs. Homer Jacks, Mi's. L. D. Grogan and Miss Omie Moncus; two brothers, Bud and Charley Moncus; and three liters, Mrs. Grady Griffin, Mrs. Joe Johnston and Mrs. Bill Burgess.
