Services for Mrs. Minnie C. Moncus, 84, of Lineville were today at Pleasant Grove 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Martin DeWeese officiating. Burial was in the 
adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge.  Mrs. 
Moncus died Sunday at Lineville Geriatric Center after a long illness. Survivors 
include a son, Eugene Moncus, and a granddaughter, Miss Linda Moncus, both of 
Lineville. Pallbearers were W.C. Ford, Kermit Ford, Wilson Pettus, Zenus Pettus, 
Aaron Chapman and Willard Moncus.  Mrs. Moncus was a native of Randolph County 
and had lived in Clay County most of her life. She was a member of Pleasant Grove 
Baptist Church and a schoolteacher in the Randolph County School System.
