Services for Mrs. Gladys B. Moncus, 79, of Wadley will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at 
Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Freeman and the Rev Zenus Windsor 
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral 
Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
until an hour prior to services. Mrs. Moncus died Monday at Clay County 
Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Grace Mobley of Langdale and 
Mrs. Zuma Gibson Wadley; two sons, Hubert Moncus and Bobby Moncus, both of 
Langdale; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Liles and Mrs. Imajean Hodge, both of 
Wadley; nine grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Junior 
Gravett, Alton Padgett, Ned Clark, Hubert Jones, Fred Moncus and Jimmy Moncus. 
Mrs. Moncus was a Jefferson County native, who had lived in Clay County for most 
of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
