Glenn Cooper officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge. Miss Moncus died Sunday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Fannie M. Moncus of Lineville; two sisters, Mrs. Vernie Grogan, and Mrs. Winnie Jacks, both of Talladega; two brothers, Willard Moncus of Ashland and Wilford Moncus of Munford; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Daniel Graben, Zenus Pettus, Aaron Chapman, Kermit Ford, James Ford and Edward Latham. Miss Moncus was a native of Randolph County and had lived in Clay County for the past 40 years. She was a retired employee of Southland Manufacturing Co. and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
