Anniston Star
Mrs. Katherine C. Moncus, 50, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, died Friday at University 
Hospital, Birmingham. Services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Hollis Horn, the Rev. Zenus Windsor and the Rev. Johnny Foster 
officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Brock-Service Funeral Home in 
charge. survivors include her parents Mr. & Mrs. B.B. Caldwell of Wedowee; and 
two daughters Judy Knight and Mrs. Phyllis Hall of Tallassee; two sons, Larry 
Moncus of Cragford, and Danny Moncus of Wedowee; a brother, Dewey Caldwell of 
Ninety-Six, S. C, and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Rodney Moncus, Bobby 
Moncus, Rodger Moncus, Maddison Moncus, Steve Moncus, Mike Bradford and Lynn 
Caldwell.
