Services for Clara E. Moncus, 91, of Cragford were today at 2 p.m. at Corinth 
Baptist Church with Revs. Richie Farrow, Harold Blanton, Monroe Lipscomb and 
Randy Anderson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield 
Funeral Home of Lineville. Mrs. Moncus died Saturday at Lineville Nursing 
Facility. Survivors include four daughters, Ila Caldwell, Faye Farris and Janice 
Farrow, all of Cragford and Jean Bassett of Columbus, Ga.; two sons, Fred Moncus 
and Jimmy Moncus, both of Cragford; a brother, George W. McClain of Franklin; 17 
grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. 
Pallbearers were Ray Caldwell, Terry Bassett, Mike Bassett, Jerry Moncus, Greg 
Farris; Steven Ferguson, Timothy Farrow and Tim Saxon. Mrs. Moncus was a Clay 
County native, a housewife and a member of Corinth Baptist Church
