A. Moore died at his home in Union beat at the age of 77 years. The deceased was well known in this part of the state, having lived in this county most all his life. He is survived by his wife, five sons and one daughter, J. R. Moore, Plain view, Texas; W. L. Moore, Hurley. N. M.; Mrs. W. R. Birchfield, Lubback, Texas; J. W. Moore, Barfield; Albert J. Moore, Washington, D. C; and Charles Moore, New York City. Funeral services were conducted at Union Baptist church last Monday morning by Rev. C. W. Landers, Anniston, assisted by Rev. F. J. Ingram and Judge E. J. Garrison. Burial was in Union cemetery, Blair directing. Pallbearers were Oscar Kizer, Andrew Hurst, Erwin Bowling, Eddie March, Homer Spears, Ernest Spurlin.
