Ashland Progress
Mrs. Rada Macoy Moore, Clay County native passed away at the home of Mrs. Gordon 
Price on Wednesday, August 15th. Funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Tapley and 
Rev. Birchfield at the Shiloh Baptist Church of which she had been a member since 
childhood. Interment was in the church cemetery, Thursday, August 16. Blair 
Funeral Directors in charge. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gordon Price; 
four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. O. T. Ward, New 
Brocton; two brothers, J. D. and C.A. Macoy, Lineville Rt. 1. Pallbearers were 
Joe Minter, Joe Macoy, Mack Macoy, Gordon Parker, Hubert Minter, and William C. 
Macoy.
