The Atlanta Constitution
Funeral services for William Richard Morris, 61, were held Wednesday in 
Lineville. Burial was in the city cemetery. Mr. Morris was a former resident of 
Atlanta, Fitzgerald and Manchester, Ga. He died Monday at his home in Lineville. 
He was a retired boilermaker and worked with the AB&C Railroad and Atlantic 
Coastline Railroad. He retired while working with the North Carolina and St. 
Louis Railroad in Atlanta. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Smith Morris; a 
daughter, Mrs. Richard C. Forte, Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Lela Warrick, 
Birmingham; a brother, J. W. Morris, Brashear, Tex.; six grandchildren and one 
great-grandchild.
