Roanoke Leader
Mrs. Minnie Lee Morris, age 71, passed away from this life to be with God on May 
18, and was buried in New Harmony cemetery Saturday, May 20, The Rev. Pembleton 
Bean officiated, and Blair of Lineville was the funeral director. Mrs. Morris 
joined the New Harmony Church in 1897 and was a good and faithful member, 
attending services as long as her health permitted. The influence of her 
beautiful life will live long in the memory of her husband, children, and 
friends. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom are now living. She 
loved her home, and the members of her family were her chief concern. She was a 
good neighbor and a true and faithful friend, never too the number of relatives 
and friends gathered to see her laid to rest show the esteem in which she was 
held. Mrs. Morris leaves to mourn her going, her husband, four sons, four 
daughters, 28 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of relatives 
and friends.
